early morning radio (and ufos)

I love radio. In fact, I consume more hours of radio than watching the idiot box. When possible, I tune in to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory.

From Wikipedia:

Coast to Coast AM is a North American (US and Canada) late-night syndicated radio talk show that deals with a variety of topics, but most frequently ones that relate either to the paranormal, or to alleged conspiracies. It was created by Art Bell and airs seven nights a week 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Pacific Time.

Tonight's show – a Friday night program – will be, as the show's format dictates, open lines from 11 p.m. to 2 am Pacific Time. Friday night shows are always an adventure because Mr Noory fields calls from practically every facet of the American population. Some callers are obviously emotionally disturbed, while others are well educated and know the definition of fact, or, at least, perceived fact.

Once you listen to just one Coast to Coast show you will probably become one of the show's many devoted listeners; it is indeed a very compelling broadcast – and that is an egregious understatement.
